I'm thrilled to have a role in The Life Kitchen, and especially Mums Kitchen. What I love about The Life Kitchen Alison has created, is that like all great kitchens, it's warm and inviting, and also nourishing for the soul. I'm looking forward to spending time with you in The Life Kitchen and sharing excerpts from my book, MotherNurture - Self-Centred Motherhood.

We play so many roles in our lives, wear so many 'hats', that we often put the needs of others before our own. It's fairly natural for mothers to nurture everyone else. If looking after yourself doesn't come naturally for you, spend some time in Mums Kitchen. You'll be self-centred in no time!

The fact is, the media, marketers (and in some cases, well-meaning mother-in-laws) have a lot to say about how we should be mothering and living our lives. The more the world has to say about it, the more 'information' there is, the more confusing it seems to get. And the louder the world gets, the more difficult it is to hear your own inner voice.

The Life Kitchen, and Mums Kitchen, is about YOU! Listening to your own heart, your own truth, your own voice, as a mother and a woman.
